My Journey: From Law to Tech—Driven by Curiosity
Currently serving as a Director at Vauldex Technologies Inc.
While my academic background was originally in law, I’ve had a deep passion for technology and gadgets since childhood, always harboring a desire to step into this industry one day.
The major turning point came when I found a role where I could leverage my English language skills to support tech projects. The work at Vauldex struck the perfect chord, offering both continuous challenges and immense opportunities for professional growth. It felt like the right moment to step out of my comfort zone, blending my past experiences with this exciting new domain.
Diving into an unfamiliar field naturally brought some uncertainty, but I moved forward with a clear personal mantra: “Never stop learning, never stop growing.” That’s the mindset I bring to work every single day.

My Role: Driving Projects and Building Scalable Processes
Today, I oversee multiple projects, providing strategic support, consultation, and hands-on guidance to overcome roadblocks. When it comes to team assembly, I look far beyond technical skill sets—cultural fit and personal integrity are just as crucial. I focus on finding the optimal chemistry for each project, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to build high-performing teams.
In my day-to-day work, I bridge the gap between ideas and execution by crafting mockups in Sketch and Figma to ensure alignment between clients and internal teams. To keep our workflows transparent and agile, we rely on GitHub project boards for management, alongside tight-knit communication via Slack and Google Meet.
Ultimately, I view my role as a mentor. Whether it’s refining how we run Scrum events, optimizing task management, or instilling a product-focused mindset during development, my goal is always to guide the team toward excellence.

Lessons Learned: Turning the "Unknown" into Insight
When I first joined the company, I quickly realized the stark difference between knowing a term and truly understanding it. In tech, if you don’t grasp the underlying architecture and concepts behind the buzzwords, you don't really understand them.
That was my first real hurdle. At the time, we were moving fast on projects involving cutting-edge tech like cryptocurrency and blockchain. Even for terms I had heard before, explaining their mechanics and structural design was a whole different ballgame.
So, I took a methodical approach: research, internalize, and document—one step at a time. I made it a rule never to leave a question unanswered, turning every gap in my knowledge into a learning milestone. To me, "understanding" isn't just about absorbing information; it’s about reconstructing that knowledge within yourself.
The moments where we cracked a complex problem in a project brought an incredible sense of achievement—like watching a massive puzzle finally click into place. Those wins built the confidence and the drive that fuel my continuous learning today.
Culture: "Right Over Rank" is the DNA of Vauldex
If there’s one principle I live by here, it’s “Right over rank.” Prioritizing the correct solution over hierarchy or title is the bedrock of Vauldex’s culture.
Our team operates with radical openness and collaboration. Everyone takes deep ownership of their work, yet no one hesitates to lend a hand when needed. There is a natural psychological safety that allows anyone to voice their ideas. We debate based on what is right, not who is right, creating an environment where every member feels secure enough to take risks and grow.
Given that we operate heavily in a remote setup, I always practice extreme empathy—putting myself in the other person's shoes. Whether I’m conveying product requirements or technical specifications, I make sure to communicate with absolute clarity and patience. It’s these small, consistent actions that build institutional trust.
The Vision: Every Project Sharpening My Craft
With every project we ship, I can feel my own growth. The feeling of overcoming hurdles as a team and successfully crossing the finish line is indescribable. Through this journey, I’ve been able to sharpen a diverse toolkit—from UI/UX design and project management to a deep understanding of Scrum, hiring, and talent development.
Living and working in this ecosystem has also given me a profound appreciation for Japanese business culture. The emphasis on collective alignment and the meticulous attention to detail have deeply influenced my personal philosophy on work. Moving forward, my ultimate vision is to leverage this unique blend of cultures to build and launch products that succeed on a global scale.

Message: Let’s Bring Bold Ideas to Life
My mission is to clear the path so our teams can perform at their absolute best. Whether it’s through optimizing daily workflows, mentoring talent, or elevating our shipping quality, I feel a direct connection between my daily work and the company's broader vision.
The true superpower of Vauldex lies in our ability to turn abstract ideas into reality. The speed and agility with which a casual spark in a meeting transitions into a live, implemented feature is exhilarating. This continuous loop of innovation is what makes Vauldex special.
I’m looking to work with people who are rational, open-minded, and fiercely curious. People who love to learn, respect diverse perspectives, and want to grow alongside a driven team. If that sounds like you, let’s build the future together.
